    The Comic Bug of Manhattan Beach, CA will host the Groovy Madmen of Comics Party benefiting Hero Initiative on Saturday May 19, from 7-10 p.m. The Comic Bug is located at 1807 Manhattan Beach Blvd. The event features the display and sale of 200 original Julius Schwartz cover proofs from 1964-74.     Gemstone Publishing and The Hero Initiative have once again teamed up to raise money for comic creators in need. They will release an exclusive, 500-copy, limited hardcover edition of The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #42 at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2012.
