Hero Initiative has Exclusives and Events in Chicago at C2E2

Los Angeles (March 13, 2020) Hero Initiative, the non-profit organization that aids comic book creators in medical or financial need, breezes into Chicago for the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, also known as C2E2, located at McCormick Place February 29-March 1.
Artist Tom Raney (Ultimate X-Men, Outsiders, Stormwatch) will be Hero’s EXCLUSIVE guest all weekend at the Hero booth, #529. Check him out!
And before the con even starts, head to C2E2 Drink & Draw Thursday March 27 at 8 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Hotel bar! Mingle with fans, meet creators, and take home a one-of-a-kind drawing! Attendees who pay $25 to aid The Hero Initiative will receive a blank Hero Initiative drink coaster perfect for sketching! Fans will be randomly assigned an artist from participating creators Art Baltazar, Michael Cho, Sean Forney, Sanford Greene, Gene Ha, Scott Koblish, Aaron Lopresti, Mike Perkins, Tom Raney, Tim Seeley, Jill Thompson, Thom Zahler. Bring the coaster to your artist and they’ll create a unique drawing just for you!
On Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-12 noon, catch the world premiere of A Little Help From Our Friends vol. 3, a 100-page jam-project spectacular limited to just 100 copies (!) at $20 each. More than a DOZEN creators of the book including Hilary Barta, Jim Engel, Ian Satiekis, John Schaefer and Disney Imagineer Topper Helmers will be on-hand for a special signing! Don’t miss out!
