Hero Initiative hits Phoenix Comicon With Special Guest Rick Leonardi And Wonder Woman 100 live auction!

Los Angeles, CA (May 18, 2017) Hero Initiative, the charity that helps comic book creators in medical and financial need, will hit the Phoenix Comicon in a HUGE way at the Phoenix Convention Center May 25-May 28.

Special guest artist Rick Leonardi will be at the Hero booth, #396-398, Friday through Sunday. Rick has been entertaining comic fans for 30 years on titles ranging from Cloak and Dagger to Uncanny X-Men, so make sure you swing by the booth for sketches and autographs!

And Hero’s MASSIVE event will be the second stage of The Wonder Woman 100 Project auctions! You can swing by the booth to view 37 original Wonder Woman covers and bid on them in an exciting auction on Saturday, May 27 at 6 p.m. in Room 127C in the convention center. Hero Initiative Revs to Motor City Comic Con With special guest artist Chris Burnham

LOS ANGELES (May 10, 2017) Hero Initiative, the non-profit organization that aids comic creators in medical and financial need, travels to Motor City Comic Con, May 19-21 at The Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan, just outside Detroit.

Hero’s exclusive guest at the con is artist Chris Burnham, best known for his work on Batman Incorporated and Nameless. Chris will be at booth #305-307 all weekend so make sure you grab a sketch or signature. All proceeds to go to Hero Initiative. Don’t miss out!

Hero Initiative Shows off The Wonder Woman 100 Project! Online gallery now up, and auctions announced!

LOS ANGELES, CA (May 3, 2017) — Hero Initiative, the charity that helps comic book creators in medical and financial need, is showing off Wonder Woman in all her glory!

DC Entertainment created a precious few blank-covered editions of the Wonder Woman 75th Anniversary Special and the Hero Initiative got 100+ top artists to do original drawings right on the cover. The result is The Wonder Woman 100 Project! An online gallery of all 111 covers is now up for all to view at Hero Initiative’s website.

And Hero Initiative will auction off at three exciting live events:

One-third of all covers will be auctioned at each venue, and full details on times, locations, and how to bid are found on Hero’s gallery page.

In addition, a Wonder Woman 100 Project softcover book collecting the covers will be available in June (Diamond Order Code APR170441). A limited edition hardcover will be available direct from Hero Initiative at the same time.

Hero Initiative breezes into the Windy City of Chicago for C2E2 With special guest Bill Willingham, beery party and more!

And we have an amazing crew anchoring our booth, #1459! Writer/artist Bill Willingham, the man behind Fables and a NEW First Comics series to be announced at C2E2, will be EXCLUSIVELY at the Hero booth all weekend! He’ll be joined by Punisher and Batman artist Bill Reinhold, and Incredible Hulk writer Sean McKeever. Check them all out at booth #1459!
