Hero Initiative heads to South Carolina Comic Con!

With Very Special Guest Dennis O’Neil

Los Angeles, CA (March 15, 2017) Hero Initiative, the non-profit organization that aids comic creators in medical and financial need, is heading to SC Comicon March 25-26 at the TD Convention center in Greenville, S.C! And we’ll have comics legend Dennis O’Neil as our exclusive guest!

O’Neil is one of comics’ greatest writers, and his work on Green Lantern/Green Arrow in the early 1970s energized the industry! He might be even more famous as Marvel Comics and DC Comics editor from the 1960s through the 1990s, where he revolutionized Daredevil and the Batman books. Dennis will be signing at the Hero Initiative booth all weekend, so make sure you stop by!

 

And Hero Initiative Ambassadors all over the floor will be collecting for Hero Initiative as well! Make sure you swing by on Sanford Greene, Ron Marz, Bart Sears, Andy Smith, Will Torres, and Mark Waid!

LOS ANGELES, CA (October 29, 2015) – Hero Initiative, the charitable organization dedicated to helping veteran comic creators in medical or financial need, is heading to the New York Comic Con at the Javits Center located at 655 West 34th St. in New York, NY from October 6-9.

 

From across the pond, artist Steve Dillon will make the Hero booth his home all weekend! Steve is best known for his work on Preacher, Hellblazer, The Punisher and more. He’ll be at our booth, #N104, all weekend sketching and signing. Make sure you come by and don’t miss out. All proceeds benefit Hero!

In addition, Mike Perkins (Captain America), Chris Ivy (X-Men) and Ron Marz (Green Lantern) will also be stopping by the booth to sign and sketch. Make sure you join the party at the Hero booth!

And Hero Initiative Ambassadors on the floor will be collecting for Hero as well, so stop and by and do the right thing! Hero Initiative Presents John McCrea at the Baltimore Comic-Con

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – August 12, 2016 – Once again, there is major buzz surrounding the incredible talent Hero Initiative will be bringing to the Baltimore Comic-Con, September 2-4, 2016, at the Baltimore Convention Center. Hero Initiative, the comic creator charity, will have a full house of guest artists supporting the cause. At the booth, John McCrea (co-creator of Hitman) will be Hero Initiative’s guest at Baltimore. John McCrea is a respected illustrator and comic book artist, perhaps most popular for his work with Garth Ennis on Preacher, Punisher, and Hitman. John is currently working on Mars Attacks! for IDW Publishing. He has worked for many comic book companies, including Marvel and DC Comics, where he has illustrated iconic characters such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Hulk, Spider-Man, Daredevil, Wolverine, the Demon, and England’s own Judge Dredd. John rarely makes it to this side of the Atlantic, and this is his only US visit for 2016, so grab your books and sketch portfolio!
